Four-time All-American bowler Amanda Burgoyne Vermilyea has been announced as the third member of this year’s class going into the University of Nebraska Athletic Hall of Fame. 

Husker bowlers won 27 tournament titles in Burgoyne’s career. She helped lead NU to back-to-back NCAA titles in 2004 and 2005.

She was named the Most Outstanding Player at the 2005 Bowling Championships, when she rolled an average of 251.75, which is still a record.
