Brockett’s No-Hitter Earns Conference, National Honors

Nebraska’s Jackson Brockett has been named the Big Ten’s Pitcher of the Week.
He also received national pitcher of the week honors Monday from D1 Baseball and Perfect Game.
Brockett tossed the sixth individual no-hitter in program history in the Huskers’ 8-0 win over Kansas State last week. It was the first nine-inning no-no for NU since 1954.
The junior, who was making his first start of the season, posted a career-high 12 strikeouts and only walked two Wildcats.
