Boys Subdistrict Semifinals on the Air, Other Scores
In the boys C2-8 subdistrict, Aquinas will meet number-1 seed and host Cross County at 5:30 this evening. The Monarchs topped Twin River 60-21 last night. In that tourney’s second semifinal, Nebraska Christian will battle Heartland. Both games will be broadcast on KZ-100.
The two boys D1-3 semifinals will be carried on 93.5 The Hawk tonight. East Butler, which got by Central Valley 61-60 last night, will play top-seeded Riverside at 6:00 p.m. followed by Shelby-Rising City against High Plains Community.
Other boys subdistrict scores from last night: David City fell to Raymond Central 56-45 to end a 3-21 season, and Madison finished 5-18 after a 58-30 loss to Elkhorn Valley. And in the girls B-4 subdistrict, Schuyler was downed by South Sioux City 49-12. The Warriors finished 1-21.
