The Scotus Invite was played yesterday at Quail Run. The Shamrocks’ Nick Fleming fired a 78 and won a playoff to claim first place, helping Scotus finish fourth at 346.
Lakeview’s Max Fremarek tied for the seventh-best score with an 83, but took the ninth place medal after losing a scorecard playoff. The Vikings were fifth in the team standings at 349.
Meanwhile, Columbus finished 11th out of 15 teams competing at its own invitational. The Discoverers posted a team score of 373 at Elks Country Club.
Individually, no Columbus golfers finished in the top 20. Tyson Weber had the Discoverers’ best score with an 87, while Keaton Barnes carded a 90.
