Both Lakeview Hoops Teams Fall in Conference Tourney

Lakeview’s boys and girls basketball clubs both suffered home losses to Holdrege in Central Conference tournament action last night. 

In a boys first round game, the Vikings were edged by the Dusters 60-57.  Eli Osten led Lakeview with 23 points.  In a girls quarterfinal contest, the Lady Vikes dropped a 46-37 decision.  Maddi Vogt and Katee Korte had 10 points each in the loss. 

Meantime, the Schuyler girls were dumped by Aurora 60-6 in the bunny bracket.  The Warriors boys visit Grand Island Northwest in tonight’s quarterfinals.
