Both Columbus Soccer Teams Win in District Semifinals

Both Columbus High soccer clubs posted home wins yesterday in district semifinal matches.
In boys action, the second-seeded Discoverers downed Papillion-La Vista 4-1. CHS is now 9-4 and will meet 13-3 and top-seeded Millard South in the district final.
In the girls semifinals, number-2 seed Columbus beat Papillion-La Vista South 5-0. In the district final, the Discoverers will meet number-1 seed Omaha Westside, which is 11-5 after a 5-0 victory over Lincoln High.
