Bombs-Away Badgers Beat Huskers in Men’s College Hoops

Wisconsin hit a season-high 13 3-pointers in an 88-72 victory over the Nebraska men’s basketball team on Saturday. 

The Huskers saw their five-game win streak snapped as they fell to 12-3 overall and 2-2 in the Big Ten.  The Badgers improved to 11-3 and remained the only unbeaten team in conference play at 3-0. 

Nebraska will host Purdue tomorrow night.  Tipoff is set for 8 p.m.  Tuesday’s pregame starts at 7 on News Talk 900 KJSK.

On Sunday, the Nebraska women fell to No. 14 Indiana 91-69 at Pinnacle Bank Arena.  The Huskers dropped to 11-4 overall, 3-1 in the conference.
