Nebraska baseball coach Will Bolt has received a contract extension and a pay raise.
Interim athletic director Garrett Klassy made the announcement Thursday evening. Bolt received a one-year extension that will run his deal through June 30, 2006. He’ll get a $100,000 increase in his annual salary.
In his second season with Nebraska in 2021, Bolt led the Huskers to a conference title and was named Big Ten Coach of the Year. NU went 34-14 and advanced to its first regional final since 2007. Nebraska’s 15-member recruiting class this year is ranked second in the Big Ten and in the top 40 nationally by Perfect Game USA.
