Nebraska baseball head coach Will Bolt announced today that the Huskers and pitching coach Jeff Christy have mutually agreed to part ways.
Christy served as an assistant on Bolt’s staff the past four seasons. He also worked with Bolt at Texas A&M in 2018 and 2019, after coaching at NU under Darin Erstad from 2012 to 2014. Christy was a catcher for the Huskers in 2005 and 2006.
In today’s news release Bolt said: “Jeff and I have a close relationship dating back to our College World Series run in 2005. He played a key role for the last four seasons and helped us earn a Big Ten Championship and NCAA regional final appearance in 2021. I wish Jeff and his family nothing but the best moving forward.”
