Bluejays Men Use Defense to Down Kennesaw State

The Creighton men’s basketball team used strong defense to rally for a 51-44 win over Kennesaw State last night.
The victory at CHI Health Center upped the Bluejays to 2-0 on the young season. Trailing 26-24 early in the second half, the Jays used a 10-0 run to take the lead for good. Alex O’Connell led CU with a game-high 13 points.
The Bluejays will travel to Lincoln next Tuesday to face Nebraska in the Gavitt Tipoff Games. The Huskers look to even their record at 1-1 tonight, with a home win over Sam Houston.
