18th-ranked Creighton saw its eight-game winning streak snapped last night as the Bluejays fell 94-86 in double overtime at No. 24 Providence.
The Jays had the basketball at the end of regulation and the first overtime, but the Friars got defensive stops both times. CU is now 18-8 overall, while Providence is 19-7. Both clubs are 11-4 in the Big East.
The Bluejays play at St. John’s Saturday at 6:30 p.m. on FS1.
