Bluejays Edged by Xavier in Offensive Slugfest

There were a lot of offensive fireworks in Cincinnati last night as the Creighton men’s basketball team was edged by No. 12 Xaiver, 90-87. 

Baylor Scheierman scored a season-high 25 points, while Ryan Nembhard had 17 points and seven assists.  But, the Bluejays dropped to 9-8 overall, 3-3 in the Big East and 2-4 against top-25 teams this season.  The Musketeers won their 10th straight game, improving to 14-3 overall and 6-0 in the conference.
