Bluejays Drop Game at Xavier, Slip Into Second Place

Creighton’s baseball club couldn’t complete a series sweep at Xavier yesterday. The Bluejays were downed by the Musketeers 9-3.
The loss dropped the Jays to 25-12 overall. CU is 10-2 and fell into second place in the Big East, one game behind UConn.
The Bluejays travel to Connecticut this weekend to face the 15th-ranked Huskies in a three-game series.
