Bluejays Beat Hoyas, Host Pirates on Saturday

The Creighton men’s basketball team nailed a season-high 17 three-pointers in a 91-76 home victory over Georgetown last night. 

The Bluejays’ win, combined with Seton Hall’s loss to Villanova, gives Creighton a chance to tie for its first Big East title on Saturday when the 11th-ranked Jays host the number-8 Pirates.  The game is slated for 1:30 p.m. at CHI Health Center Omaha.

The number 1 seed in the Big East tournament will go to the winner.

Saturday’s game will be televised on FOX.
