Big Ten Reportedly Looking to Add Oregon, Washington

A group of Big Ten presidents has begun discussing the possibility of adding more West Coast schools to the conference.
Two sources told the Associated Press that Oregon and Washington would be the primary targets if the Big Ten decided to make a move. The Pac-12 is already down to nine schools beyond this year. Next season, Southern Cal and UCLA will join the Big Ten and Colorado heads to the Big 12.
Meanwhile, Florida State’s president said yesterday he believes the Seminoles will have to consider leaving the ACC unless there is a “radical change to the revenue distribution.” Speculation has surfaced that Florida State and Clemson could leave the ACC, which makes roughly $30 million less than the Big Ten and SEC annually in TV revenue.
