Big Red Football to Kick Off 2025 Season at Arrowhead Stadium

Nebraska football will kick off the 2025 season with a game at Arrowhead Stadium. 

The Huskers are now scheduled to face Cincinnati on Thursday, August 28th, 2025 at the home of the Kansas City Chiefs.  The venue change was announced today by the Huskers, Bearcats and Chiefs.  The kickoff time and television network will be determined in the spring. 

The contest is a Bearcats’ home game and was originally set to be played at Cincy.  It had been moved to Indianapolis before today’s change to KC. 

NU and Cincinnati also announced today the teams will meet in Lincoln’s Memorial Stadium on Sept. 10, 2033, after previously being slated to play in 2032.
