Big East Baseball Tourney Bid on the Line as Jays Host UConn

A bid to the Big East baseball tournament is on the line for Creighton, as the Bluejays open a home series against number-9 UConn tonight. 

The top four teams will make the conference tournament.  CU is currently in fourth place with a 9-9 league mark, but the Bluejays are only a half-game ahead of 8-9 Georgetown.  UConn is on top of the standings at 13-4, with the Huskies just a half-game in front of 13-5 Xavier. 

Tonight’s first pitch at Charles Schwab Field is set for 6 p.m.  The game will be televised on FS1.
