Bentz Tosses No-Hitter, Lakeview Softball Wins Twice

Cali Bentz pitched a no-hitter to lead Lakeview’s softball team to a 3-0 victory over Seward in the first game of a home triangular Monday.
Bentz did not allow a walk and racked up 10 strikeouts. Only two errors by the Vikings kept it from being a perfect game.
In the late game, Lakeview romped over Schuyler 21-5 in two innings. The Vikings tallied seven hits, but picked up 17 walks.
Lakeview is 13-5 and will host Aurora on Thursday.
