Baseball: Huskers Win at K-State, Bluejays Lose at Omaha

In college baseball, Nebraska’s bullpen combined for seven scoreless innings as the Huskers won 6-1 at Kansas State.
Brice Matthews went 2-for-5 with a double and two RBI, extending his hitting streak to 12 games and his reached base streak to 29. The Huskers hiked their record to 16-9-1.
Meanwhile, Creighton fell 4-1 to Omaha at the Mavericks home ballpark. The loss dropped the Bluejays to 12-10, while the Mavs climbed to 11-11.
CU opens Big East action tomorrow night as the Jays begin a three-game home series against Villanova.
