Baseball: Huskers, Bluejays Home Openers on Tap

Nebraska’s baseball club plays its home opener today.  The Huskers welcome Columbia to Haymarket Park to begin a four-game series. 

NU is 2-7 on the season, while the Ivy League’s Lions are 0-4. Today’s first pitch is on tap at 1:35.  The two teams will play a doubleheader tomorrow starting at 12:05. And the series finale begins at 11:05 on Sunday morning. 

Meantime, Creighton opens its home slate at TD Ameritrade Park tomorrow. The Bluejays battle Portland at 1 p.m., followed by a 4:30 game against UNO.  The Jays and Pilots meet again Sunday at noon.
