Baseball: Huskers, Bluejays Both Win Weekend Series

In college baseball, Nebraska rebounded from a season-opening loss to Purdue on Friday to win the next three games in Round Rock, Texas. 

Following the 6-5 walk-off loss in the opener, the Huskers outscored the Boilermakers 21-2 over the final three contests, including a 4-0 win yesterday. 

Meantime, Creighton settled for a series win over Nebraska-Omaha.  The Bluejays outscored the Mavericks 25-5 in the first two games on Friday and Saturday, but UNO prevailed 5-2 on Sunday for its first win at its new ballpark. 

CU is now 4-3, while UNO is 4-5 on the season.
