Nebraska senior linebacker Mohamed Barry is one of six finalists for the Pop Warner National College Football Award.

The award was established in 2010, when NU cornerback Prince Amukamara was its first winner. It recognizes a graduating senior who has made a real impact on the field, in the classroom and in the community.

Barry is leading NU in tackles for a second straight season. In the classroom, he’s a three-time Academic All-Big Ten selection. Barry is also one of the most active Huskers in the community and is a four-time member of both the Brook Berringer and Tom Osborne Citizenship Teams.
