Barron Miles Jr. plans to follow in his dad’s footsteps.  The younger Miles is walking on at Nebraska for this season.

Barron Miles Sr. was a two-time first-team All Big Eight performer at defensive back for the Huskers.  As a senior on NU’s 1994 national championship team, he had five interceptions and four of his school-record seven blocked kicks.

His son played on both sides of the ball at Chandler High in Arizona.  The 6-foot, 170-pounder will reportedly play receiver for Nebraska. In four games as a prep senior, he had four receptions for 118 yards and one touchdown.
