Banton Highlighted as One of Top Transfers in Nation

Nebraska basketball guard Dalano Banton was featured as one of 20 under-the-radar transfers by national college basketball analyst Jon Rothstein. 

Banton is eligible at NU this season after transferring from Western Kentucky and sitting out last year.  A former top 100 recruit coming out of high school, he played in 31 games, including 12 starts, for the Hilltoppers as a freshman two years ago.  He averaged 3.4 points, 3.0 rebounds and better than two assists per game. 

This is the second newcomer list the 6-foot-8 point guard has been featured on, as Banton was previously ranked by ESPN.com as one of the top impact newcomers nationally.
