BATTLE CREEK- The Madison County Sheriff’s Office has received an increase of complaints of drivers passing school buses that are stopping or stopped to load or unload the school age passengers.

Chief Deputy at the Madison County Sheriff’s Office David Prather says it’s a very dangerous situation…

According to Prather, some of the complaints stem from the Tilden and Battle Creek area. The act is against the law and Prather says there is a $500 fine plus court costs if people are caught.
