Aussie Forward Petrie Signed by NU Women’s Basketball

A standout women’s basketball player from Australia will join Nebraska for next season.
Jessica Petrie, a 6-foot-2 forward, was signed by coach Amy Williams on the opening day of the spring signing period on Wednesday.
Petrie is averaging 18 points, 8.8 rebounds and 3.5 assists through six games for the Basketball Centre of Excellence in Australia. She played at three levels for the Australian National Team last year.
