Arndt Wins Class C Title, Scotus Girls Golf Team Second
Cecilia Arndt of Scotus won the individual title at the Class C girls state golf tournament.
The Shamrocks sophomore shot a 79 at Elks Country Club today to finish the two-day tourney at 13-over-par, 157 – three strokes ahead of the nearest challenger.
Boone Central’s Taylor Beierman also medaled. She carded a 92 in the final round and her 182 total tied for 14th.
In the team standings, Scotus finished second with a score of 745, 26 strokes behind Broken Bow. Fullerton was 13th out of 15 clubs.
