Arndt Shoots an 87 on Final Day at Pinehurst

Cecilia Arndt of Scotus shot an 87 yesterday in the third and final round of the NHSGA National Invitational at Pinehurst Resort in North Carolina.
Arndt finished the tournament at 43-over par, 257. She wound up tied for 130th in the field of 220 top female high school golfers. Arndt was invited to the tournament after she won the Class C girls golf state championship as a sophomore last fall.
Jennifer Seo of Arizona fired a 67 yesterday to finish with a 54-hole total of three-under par, 211 and win the event by two strokes.
