Area Teams’ Results From Monday’s Legion Baseball Tourneys

In American Legion Senior area tournaments involving area clubs on Monday, Albion was edged by Waterloo-Valley 8-7 to bow out of the B3 action with a 1-2 record.
In B4, Central City was downed by host Wahoo 7-2. Central City still advanced to today’s championship with a 3-1 mark and will face the winner of today’s 5 p.m. game between Wahoo and Waverly.
In the C4 tourney at Geneva, Shelby-Osceola-Stromsburg was scheduled to play Sutton last night, but no score has been reported. However, the tourney online bracket does list SOS advancing to tonight’s championship against Utica-Beaver Crossing.
