Area Team, Individual Results at State Cross Country

In last Friday’s state cross country meet at Kearney, Columbus High’s Noah Lawrence finished 24th in the Class A boys race. 

The Scotus boys earned seventh place in Class C, led by Michael Gasper who was 19th.  Boone Central’s girls won the Class C title, led by Jordan Soto-Stopak who finished third. The Scotus girls were 11th in the team standings, with the Shamrocks’ Olivia Fehringer just missing a medal in 16th place. 

In Class D, Payton Davis of Aquinas Catholic repeated as state champion and the Monarchs won the team title.  The Fullerton girls were ninth, as Juliana Maxfield earned a medal by placing 13th.
