In college golf yesterday, the CCC men took fifth place in their invitational at Elks Country Club.  Southeast C.C. and Northeast C.C. tied for first place at 296.  The Raiders tallied a team score of 328, 10 strokes ahead of the last-place York College JV. 

Elsewhere, Charlie Zielinski tied for second place individually and the Creighton men’s golf team finished fourth at the season-opening Wildcat Invitational in Manhattan, Kansas. 

And the Nebraska women’s golf club tied for 14th in the 16-team field at the Wolverine Invitational in Ann Arbor, Michigan.  Kirsten Baete shot a 10-over par, 223 over three rounds to pace the Huskers and tie for 40th out of 90 players.
