Aquinas Tops Scotus in Centennial Conference Tourney

Aquinas downed Scotus 51-35 in the opening round of the Centennial Conference boys basketball tournament. 

Tylen Jakub hit five three-pointers and scored a game-high 17 points to pace the Monarchs.  Josh Faust led the Shamrocks with 15 points. 

Aquinas visits Kearney Catholic in a quarterfinal game tonight.  Tipoff is set for 6 p.m. on KLIR 101. 

On the girls side, the Monarchs fell at Bishop Neumann 68-42 in last night’s opening round. 

Tonight, the Scotus girls visit Lincoln Lutheran in the conference tourney quarterfinals.
