Aquinas Softball Ousted From State Tourney by Fort Calhoun

The Aquinas Catholic softball club lost Thursday for the second time in as many games at the Class C tournament in Hastings. 

The eighth-seeded Monarchs were shut out this morning by No. 4 seed Fort Calhoun 10-0 in four innings.  In Wednesday’s opening game, Aquinas fell to No. 1 seed Hastings St. Cecilia 13-5 in six frames. 

The Monarchs wind up their season with a record of 20-15.
