Another Year, Another Brezenski, Another Scotus Soccer Record
Emma Brezenski’s 16 goals so far in the postseason helped her set a Scotus record.
Brezenski now has a record 80 goals in her career, half of them coming during her junior season this year. Emma’s sister, Libbie finished her career last season with a school-record 78 career goals. That had broken the previous record held by both players’ mom, Shamrocks coach Kristie Brezenski.
Heading into the state tournament, Emma’s 40 goals this season are three behind the school single-season record of 43, held by Sara Kunneman.
Emma and Libbie share the Scotus record for most goals in a single match with six – Emma did it twice in last week’s subdistrict tourney.
