Brooke Andrews hit a three-run homer in the bottom of the sixth inning, leading Nebraska to a 3-1 win over Iowa State in the Huskers home opener yesterday.
NU, which fell behind 1-0 in the third inning, improved to 20-9 on the season.
Nebraska will open Big Ten play by hosting Purdue in a three-game weekend series starting tomorrow evening.
