Nebraska infielder Max Anderson was named a Cape Cod League All-Star yesterday by a vote of the league’s managers.
The rising sophomore is hitting .313 with a home run and seven RBI for the Bourne Braves.
As a freshman last season, Anderson was one of the key cogs in the Huskers’ Big Ten title team. He earned Big Ten Freshman of the Year honors while helping Nebraska to a 34-14 record and a regional final appearance.
