Anderson Named by Baseball America as Second-Team All-American

Nebraska junior Max Anderson was named by Baseball America as a second-team All-American yesterday.

It’s the fifth time this month Anderson earned second-team All-America honors.

The Huskers infielder was a unanimous first-team All-Big Ten selection after hitting .414 with 21 home runs and 70 RBI last season.  Anderson was the first Husker to hit .400 in a season since 2001, when John Cole hit .418.
