Alpha Media to Air Action of Four Boys Teams at State

The brackets for the boys’ state basketball tournament were released by the NSAA today and Alpha Media will be covering four area teams in Lincoln next week.

Two of those four clubs – Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family and Fullerton – will face each other in next Thursday’s quarterfinals.  The Bulldogs are seeded number-2 and the Warriors are the 7-seed in the D1 tourney. They square off at Lincoln East Thursday at 2 p.m. The play-by-play of both teams’ games will be aired on 93.5 The Hawk, except for the third place contest.

Unbeaten Humphrey St. Francis is the top seed in D2.  The Flyers face Randolph at Lincoln Southeast next Thursday at 9 a.m. St. Francis’ games will be broadcast on KLIR 101.

In the boys’ C1 tourney, St. Paul opens against number-1 seed Adams Central at the Devaney Sports Center Thursday at 9 a.m. You can hear the Wildcats’ games on the Hawk.
