Former Nebraska All-American Alex Gordon won his eighth gold glove on Tuesday.  It was the Kansas City left fielder’s fourth straight gold glove in his final major league season.

Colorado third baseman Nolan Arenado won his eighth consecutive Gold Glove and right fielder Mookie Betts snagged his fifth in a row, his first with the Dodgers after four with Boston.

The 36-year-old Gordon joined Hall of Fame outfielder Roberto Clemente and first baseman Wes Parker as the only position players to earn the award in their last big league season.
