Alex Gordon Going Into College Baseball Hall of Fame

Former Nebraska baseball standout Alex Gordon will be inducted into the College Baseball Hall of Fame.

Gordon is one of 12 inductees announced Thursday who will officially go into the hall on February 15th.  After earning freshman All-America honors in 2003, Gordon was named a first-team All-American the next two seasons.  He led the Huskers to a school-record 57 wins and their first College World Series victory in 2005.

Gordon was a three-time All-Star in the major leagues, playing all 14 years with the Kansas City Royals.
