Albion, SOS Juniors Still Alive In Area Tournaments

In the American Legion B5 area junior tournament, Albion won its first two games before being downed by host and No. 1 seed Wayne 5-1 last night.
Albion faces West Point tonight in an elimination game.
In the C5 tourney in Silver Creek, Twin River went 0-2. David City was eliminated last night in a 10-6 loss to Wood River. Shelby-Osceola-Stromsburg bowed to top-seeded Palmer-Wohlbach-Greeley 19-8 on Sunday. SOS and Wood River meet in an elimination contest tonight.
