Alberts: Search for Football Coach Has Made “Very Good Progress”

Nebraska athletic director Trev Alberts made his monthly Sports Nightly appearance on News Talk 900 KJSK last night. 

When asked where he was in the search for the Huskers’ next football coach, Alberts said he was pleased with the process. 

“I do appreciate our fans giving us the space to do what we had said we would do,” Alberts said.  “We were going to dive into a deep process, a detail-oriented process, and I think we’ve made very good progress.”   

Alberts also said NU’s Go Big Red facilities are on target to open next summer.
