A December Volleyball Final Four in Omaha Is Off

College volleyball’s Final Four, slated to be held in Omaha, will not take place in December.
NCAA President Mark Emmert announced in a video on Twitter that the association will not conduct fall championship events because not enough teams are competing in sports such as volleyball and soccer. Emmert said the NCAA will try to stage the fall sports championships in the winter and spring.
It’s not known if Omaha would still be selected to host a rescheduled volleyball Final Four.
