Highlights From Discoverers Swimming Meet Monday vs. Norfolk

Most local sports have been postponed by snow and cold the past week, but the Columbus High swimming and diving team was able to host Norfolk Monday evening.

The dual at the Columbus Aquatic Center had been rescheduled from last Tuesday.  In girls action, the Panthers topped the Discoverers 120-54, while the Norfolk boys won 138-35.

Mallory Brittenham took first place in a girls diving event, while Mary Faltys and Erinn Briggs placed first and second, respectively, in the 100-yard breaststroke.  Conor Zobel-Stevens was first in the boys 50 freestyle and was only 0.02 seconds short of a state secondary time.
