Central Community College volleyball has signed Lakeview High senior Katee Korte.

Korte helped lead the Vikings to a third-place finish at last season’s Class C1 state volleyball tournament and a 32-5 record. Along the way, she earned All-State Honorable Mention and was named 2nd Team All-Central Conference.

“We are thrilled to add Katee Korte to our roster,” said CCC head coach Mary Young. “Katee has had a ton of success at Lakeview High School and knows how to win. She is definitely a player that will compete and work hard every single day and will make an impact on our program.”

Korte was a four-year letter winner, a rarity for Lakeview volleyball according to Vikings head coach K.C. Belitz.

Katee is the younger sister of Jordee Korte, who played volleyball for the Raiders from 2017 to 2019 and is now an assistant coach.
