Former Nebraska quarterback Zac Taylor appears to be the front-runner to become the Cincinnati Bengals head coach. That’s according to multiple reports.
Taylor is the quarterbacks coach for the Los Angeles Rams. The Rams are the number 2 seed in the NFC playoffs and rank fifth in the NFL in passing yards per game.
The reports note that the Bengals can’t start negotiating with Taylor until the Rams are eliminated from the playoffs.
In his senior season at NU in 2006, Taylor was named Big 12 player of the year.
