Founding Allman Brothers Band singer/guitarist Dickey Betts recently revealed his plans to return to performing this year after announcing his retirement from the road in 2015.
Betts, who already is confirmed to play at the 2018 Peach Music Festival in July, has added another concert event to his schedule: a headlining performance on May 19 at the 2018 Florida Jam in Boca Raton, Florida.
The festival will take place at Sunset Cove Amphitheater, and early-bird tickets are available now through February 12 for the discounted price of $65, not including fees, at Eventbrite.com.
The Florida Jam lineup also features The Devon Allman Project, a group headlined by the late Gregg Allman‘s son Devon. He’ll be joined by Dickey’s son Duane Betts as a special guest.
The 2018 Peach Music Festival, founded by the Allman Brothers, is scheduled to take place July 19 to July 22 at Montage Mountain in Scranton, Pennsylvania.
In addition to Betts, other performers on the bill include Phil Lesh & The Terrapin Family Band, Gov’t Mule, Warren Haynes solo, Chris Robinson Brotherhood, Moe., Jaimoe’s Jasssz Band, The Devon Allman Project with Duane Betts and many more acts.
