Creighton Rallies In Second Half To Down Nebraska

Creighton beat Nebraska 75-65 in men’s basketball Saturday at the CenturyLink Center.

Marcus Foster led the Bluejays with 19 points and hit a key 3-pointer to put CU on top 69-63 with 47 seconds left.

Isaac Copeland had 20 points and 11 rebounds for the Huskers, who led 33-28 at halftime.  But, Creighton rallied to post its seventh straight win over its in-state rival.

The Jays are now 7-2, while the Huskers fell to 7-4.

Nebraska hosts Kansas Saturday night.  Creighton is at home Friday to play Maryland Eastern Shore.
