NU To Face Purdue Team That’s Played Well At Home

Nebraska is getting ready to visit Purdue on Saturday night.  Like Nebraska, the Boilermakers are 3-4 this season.

But, under first-year head coach Jeff Brohm Purdue has posted a 2-1 record at home.  Their only home loss came against nationally ranked Michigan.

The Boilermakers are coming off a 14-12 loss at Rutgers last Saturday.  Purdue dominated that game statistically, out-yarding Rutgers 474-217.

Since joining the Big Ten, the Huskers lead the series against Purdue 3-1.

Kickoff Saturday is set for 6:30 p.m.  The pre-game show starts at 1:30 on News Talk 900 KJSK and will be joined at 6 p.m. on KLIR 101.
