Riley Looks Ahead To Facing Wisconsin

The Nebraska football team plays the first of two back-to-back games against top-10 opponents this Saturday.  Ninth-ranked Wisconsin visits Lincoln this week, just ahead of national power Ohio State.

At his weekly press conference yesterday, Husker coach Mike Riley says the Badgers’ offense runs the ball well and has a very efficient quarterback.

He said Wisconsin’s defense is “very, very aggressive,” noting that the Badgers had eight sacks in their win over Northwestern last Saturday.  So, Riley says Nebraska’s offense will need to protect quarterback Tanner Lee and be able to run the ball.

Kickoff in Lincoln Saturday is set for 7 p.m.  The pre-game show starts at 2 on News Talk 900 KJSK and will be joined at 6:30 on KLIR 101.
